My question is about the "LENGTH" property in the list of welded parts. In our country, there have been agreements between the design office and the production for a long time. Not least because that's how machines work, especially cutting benches. Indeed, when you call up the list of welded parts in an MEP, you have access to the "LENGTH" property. So far, no problem. Except that the length value takes into account the total length of the piece (see attachment) while what interests me is the value noted in red. Do you know a way to retrieve this value in red???
I expressed myself badly. What I want is to call a "Length" property in the list of welded parts that corresponds to the values I want to be there, and not to the "LENGTH" values retrieved by default (see PJ)
Obviously when it's straight cuts, no problem. No problem either when there is only a corner conpe. On the other hand, when there are two corner cuts, especially when the angles are different (this is not the case in the example but it is very common).
What language should I use? In your opinion, should I introduce the formula into a new property of the welded part in the model and call it into the MEP or do it directly into the drawing? So, is it possible (and by what means) to create a list of custom welded parts to call for each drawing?
