Custom property used as description, no choice possible

Hello everyone,

I am on SW 2021 SP5, I want to display the description of my parts in the assembly tree. I checked " Show component descriptions" in the tree view. However, in " system option" → " custom property used as description " I have no choice (I would like to choose one of the existing custom properties). After doing several searches in the forum I didn't find a solution.

Does anyone have a solution please?

Hello

You need to create a txt file containing the list of properties of your files and set the link to it:

After doing this, the drop-down list will scroll down the contents of the txt file set up in this way.
