Custom properties

Hello.

I want to retrieve my custom properties in the drawing.

So I created a background map with my cartridge.

I create a note ($PRPSHEET:"designation") but when I open a new drawing from my part or assembly nothing appears in the cartridge.

Any idea?

Thank you

Hello

To make your cartridge, the best way is to create a personal property questionnaire.

Then in your basemap, put annotations in your title block, linking the annotations to your properties.

See attached image for linking annotations.

Hello, is the annotation in a block? Sometimes it doesn't update.

What I did was get the AutoCAD cartridge (DWG).

and I transferred it to a background.

The problem is precisely to link the annotations to my peronalized properties.

In fact, it's $PRP without the SHEET that you have to write, it seems to me, if the property is on the 2D and not on the 3D. But if there is no view inserted into a plan, PRPSHEET will not indicate anything.

Edit:

If the appropriate document for custom properties cannot be located, the following rules apply:

  • In Edit mode, all background notes are empty. All sheet and drawing view notes have their property names displayed.
  • In Edit Baseplane mode, all baseplane notes have their property names displayed.

"You can choose whether you want to display the link error. Turn Display > Link Errors in Annotations on or off. "

Are we in agreement?

Are we all talking about these personalized properties?

Yes, in this section are filled in the properties defined in the questionnaire

Start/Property Questionnaire Form.

Do it with all the information you want.

Then draw a piece of some kind, make it a plan.

Then edit the basemap to put everything back (property etc.) and save the basemap as.

Should I create a custom  property file associated with the drawing?

or in the cartouche can we associate the personal properties of the part (or asm)?

Custom properties are for parts

Each piece and each element has its own personal property

Have you looked at the tutorials posted above?

and of course they will  follow in cartridges via the links created for this purpose

@+ ;-))

GT 22 yes I'm looking at the tutorial.

The problem is that my form is already existing.

but nothing is displayed in my cartridge.

Hello Fabrice,

Start by looking (on your 3D) in File/Properties to see if you see this property in the "Customize" or "Configuration Specific" tab. This will already be a start!

If the "designation" property is not seen there in one of the tabs (or even both), it means that the property editor you are showing is incorrectly configured.
