Solisworks property in cartridge

Good evening

How to take only the first 6 characters of the $PRP:"SW-File Name"" property for them to appear

 in the plan number of my drawing block?

example; 00625A-Chassis.sldprt

I think it will be possible with a macro (VBA program) or with paid utilities (like Integration for SolidWorks).

Fifi, do you need the Axemble utilities!!!

With Smartproperies you do this "closed doors"!!!

 

Otherwise, as you say@PL it's macro and you shouldn't forget to throw it at each coin....

Yes, I wanted to do the same to fill in a piece of the way, to know where the map is, but I couldn't find an answer....
