As a subcontractor, we sometimes work with client funds.
The client sent me their SW basemaps as well as their custom property files in .xml format... how to recover the .xml file in SW?

The easiest way for me would be to redo a property questionnaire as indicated in the .xml and then load the plans with this customer questionnaire.

If you have XML files, I think your client has the Axemble utilities (Smartproperties) to fill in the properties of these parts, assemblies and drawings.
You can't get them directly in SW.
