Hello everyone,
Today a question about the protection of drawings against modification.
I would like to be able to lock my plans (password, click button or other) so that I am sure not to move dimensions, views while they are being opened.
I have SW2013 and no plan manager.
Thank you and have a good day!
Read-only wouldn't be enough for you?
It would avoid unintentional changes!

I think you have to look at the detached shots.
I had hovered over this function a while ago to freeze the MEPs, but I'm not sure if it completely locks the MEP.
Otherwise the "freeze views" option: does it freeze the rating?

@Pascal
Detached drawings do not lock, they above all allow you to work on an MEP without loading the model, which is useful especially for large assemblies. But it has its downsides!

Hello
There has been a similar question before.

Let's see the avenues mentioned.

I add that you can display an "Attributes" column in the Windows file explorer (see my screenshot).
Convenient to see the info quickly.

Hello
Are you the only one to open these mep?
If so, reading alone won't be of much use.
What do you mean by voluntary changes when opening?
If your room in your mep never changes, save your mep in jpeg or other
And what is this attribute for? Is it a property that you have filled in by hand?
Yes, I'm the only one.
This allows me to be sure that I can't modify the file.
When I handle several plans/assemblies it can come quickly
Read-only is an attribute in Windows Explorer: Right-click on a SW -> MEP Read-Only.
Thank you!
