Variable heat output

Hello

I'm looking to perform a thermal simulation via the SolidWorks Simulation module. My part is a cylinder to which, among other things, I apply a constant thermal power. In reality, the thermal power is variable over the radius of the cylinder. Is there a way to apply this "variable" thermal power?

Thank you

Vincent

Hello @vincent.bruguier

and if you create a resistor to the axis of your tube with the required power

gradually

+ you're going to walk away

+ your power will be dissipated

well it seems to me if I don't say nonsense

Hello @gt22,

Thank you for your answer. For a thermal analysis, I can only put a thermal resistance in the connections between assemblies tab and for a thermal resistance in K/W.

It's not clear which sets to choose for my thermal resistance or what value is associated with my thermal resistance.

In reality, it is a question of controlling the thermal power as if it were following a law of behavior.
