What software(s) do they use?

This video of using a valve with a falling abrasive grain inside.

The beginning looks similar to using with 3d Via, but how do you simulate grain casting so faithfully?

I would really like to make such a successful video.

Thank you.

Hello

It's possible that it's done with Blender (a free software), an example of rendering with gravity:

See also what a deep rendering can look like with Blender :

And to export from SolidWorks to Blender, you need to use the VRML format:

As Aurélien impressante says in the video!! and I think that whatever the software there must be an impressive amount of work time to make this 3D in motion.

The rendering time should be nice too, better to have a good workstation (or even several) :)

I think they used an outside company, like:

But after which software? Probably several as .PL says, one for commercial rendering and another for particle calculation.

The possibilities are numerous, we can add this good old 3DSMax with the plugin(s) that go well.
