I want to sell a standard SOLIDWORK license with the standard simulation module. Which website lends itself well to this kind of announcement? I am up to date in maintenance and it is perfectly legal, the change of owner of the license will be done anyway at the reseller. (license purchased before 2016)
This does not seem possible to me because if a company only wants to pass its license free of charge, the recipient is required to buy back the license. This is like buying a new license and the seller is responsible for these costs with his unsellable license.
The purchase of the license is a right of use but not a property. It is a movable property and not immovable, from an accounting point of view.
We have to put ourselves in the context of the new conditions of sale since 2016 or 2017.
It's a bit of a clumsy solution because you will remain the real owner of the license forever. Your unofficial buyer will pay for the license on your behalf in a certain way, but will never own the right to use it.
I am certain - unless a Dassault salesman contradicts me - of what I am saying.
Yes indeed, since then it is no longer possible since 2016 but my sales contract dates from December 2015 (and this was also an argument of the seller at that time. so I can sell the software well) it's clear on that.
As for losing feathers, not using it, if I sell it 50% of the new value, it's interesting for me. Of course, I prefer to keep the license if I'm offered 2000 or 3000 euros, but for 5000 to 6000 (Solidworks Standard + Standard simulation, I had to pay more or less 11000 approximately) and still up to date maintenance (3000 euros/year approximately) it's interesting.
I will find my contract and share the text on the site
