Below are the main missions of a CAD administrator:

  • Installation of new versions and/or updates (with the support of the IT department).
  • Application settings (SolidWorks, mycadTools and EPDM,.......).
  • Implementation of design methodology in SolidWorks.
  • Management of the BE's computer equipment.
  • CAD license renewal management.
  • Implementation of training sessions for BE staff.
  • "Technical" support for  CAD within the design office.
  • Relationship between the design office and the CAD solution provider.
