What are the system recommendations for the proper functioning of solidworks?

Hi all.

I am looking for recommendations for a good functioning of solidworks especially to know if a restart of the OS should be done x times a day?

I thought I saw an article from dassaut system that talked about this but I can't get my hands on it anymore...

Yesterday's recommendations are no longer necessarily today's.

I would also talk more about good practice rather than recommendations

For me, restarting the OS doesn't bring anything since W10 which manages RAM better than its predecessors.

On the other hand, closing SW, between opening 2 large assemblies, greatly reduces the risk of crashing (or memory overloaded).

Personally, I still stick to the idea/habit of turning off the machine once a day (in principle in the evening to turn it back on the next morning).

The same goes for crashes, it allows you to purge temporary files, validate the closures of files that were open.
