Hello
I am currently working with Rhino3D and I would like to switch my model to CATIA V5 R20 in order to do a finite element dimensioning. However, I don't know the optimal settings of the iges file for CATIA.
Could you please help me? Thank you in advance!

Hello
Iges is not optimal under Catia (step is ideal) we have some imports depending on what we receive.
But most often we receive a file (exploded surface) which forces us to stitch it up.
So the ideal is that both software work with the same precision and it depends on the parts.
We don't wedge Catia in the same way to make parts of a few mm and parts of several meters.
I don't know about Rhino 's export options
Below are the import options I work with.
If you have a file I can check that we can rebuild a solid under catia.
