Who Uses MyCADplace?

I would like to understand some things about MyCADplace

  • How to create a list of collaborators
  • How to add a collaborator
  • How to invite a collaborator
  • what are the conditions for an employee to enter MyCADplace?
  • How to proofread an email Send an invitation
  • can we invite a collaborator without going through MyCAD
  • How to be sure that the invitation has been sent and read
  • if a new or future employee is already registered on the Lynkoa site, why not a direct link on MyCADplace (taking over your nickname and email address directly (with a link))

This is just the beginning of my questions

so if there are users other than staff members who use MyCAD I'm all ears

and I'm waiting for explanations

thank you for your answers

Also interesting:) For my part I tested with existing users, they all received a notification, by Lynkoa and e'mail

On the other hand on the internet explorer I know that there is a small problem with the 3D file viewer, at least in my company when I test them :x

Hello

To start, the myCADplace presentation video

http://youtu.be/UfbIrirCncs

Then, I remind you that every Friday at 11:30 a.m., I host a free webinar on myCADplace. There is still time to register for today's session, or for future sessions.

http://www.axemble.com/evenements

To add a collaborator, simply enter their email address. The collaborator will receive all the login information to access your project place.

The invitation text is configurable of course.

No, you cannot invite an employee without going through MyCADplace.

In terms of invitations, you have tracking on myCADplace, with the possibility of resending the invitation.

If the employee exists on Lynkoa, the link is direct with the use of his Email, name, etc.

Hello

I don't understand why all these questions?

Everything is very well explained in the MyCadPlace help, right?

Otherwise some explanations, once a project is created, you go into it and there either you click on the "project management" tab to create your list of collaborators with one of the three accesses (admin, collaborator or viewer) or you go to "access documents" to read or deposit documents.

Once a collaborator is invited, when he or she goes to access the project place, you will receive an email (Lynkoa login email) to tell you that the person is part of the project.

Answers in order:

  • Once your project has been created, all you have to do is invite collaborators (see the video)
  •  Same (see video)
  •  Same (see video)
  • there are no conditions, except to be just a member on the Lynkoa forum
  • Use the Invite button on your project
  • no, you have to go through Lynkoa and therefore myCADplace
  • Generally there are no worries, the invitations all arrive
  • If an employee is already registered on Lynkoa, when you enter the address to invite them, the interface lists the names corresponding to your entry
  • ....

Kind regards

@ coyote there are explanations but not that clear

@yves the automatic search even for a member does not work systematically, I had to ask GT22 for his email to invite him because he does not appear in the list under his username

When you enter the person to invite, is it the nickname that is searched for (example coyote) or the beginning of the mailbox (same example fbri.....)?

Another question, are domain names prohibited? like @hotmail.fr?

so to the invitation page

I write the member's nickname automatically, he puts the email address in clear and + a gray rectangle

I click on this rectangle where the email of the guest is written

I click on add

It does not fit in the list of collaborators left column

I click on send the message it replies to me the message has been sent

but the guest doesn't receive anything and yet send X times since yesterday afternoon

That's my concern for the moment

I specify that I was appointed via the administrator creator on his MyCADplace

Re

Ok my answer is a bit quick considering the information on the band.

In fact, the list of collaborators is created itself as the invited people connect to one or more projects.

So to invite a person you must, in order:

1- Open the project

2- Go to "Project Management"

3-Click on "Invite a collaborator"

4- At the very top enter the guest's email

5- Click on "Add"

6- Click on one of the three access rights

7- And finally click on Send invitation

Then, when the guest has accepted the invitation, they will be in the list of collaborators.

WARNING: it happened that the invite fell into the spam of my guests' mailbox, because the invite arrives with the address cm lynkoa and not the address of the administrator of the MyCad project. One thing to improve for the R&D team.

@ coyote

Thank you for giving these explanations but nothing or done

I must be completely stupid, stupid..................; -(

That's exactly what I've been doing since yesterday afternoon

if we find a history of messages sent via the invitation proposal

I must be close to being between 10 and 20

so it's starting hard hard to tell me (I won't say anything...........................)

Re re,

The guest doesn't receive anything even in his spam or junk mail?

Doesn't it have an anti-spam system that requires a manual connection?

I just sent the invitation as a creator

1) it doesn't work => there's a bug with hotmail

2) it works => there is a bug with the administrator account
