Make a "pigtail extended by two segments

Hello and best wishes for this year 2019.

I'm using SW 2017 with the latest update.

I tried to make a "pigtail" to make a "hunting body siphon", extended by two segments at the ends with two tangent arcs of circles as a connection. I started by making a propeller on the front plane, then I created a second plane to delimit the other end of the propeller. On the two planes I inserted a segment at the ends of the propeller. Then in a 3D sketch I converted the 3 elements. We still have to add two arcs of a circle, and that's where it gets stuck. Impossible to be tangent to the segment and the propeller at the same time, normal you will tell me since by definition the propeller is not on a plane. So I just made an approximation from an arc positioned on one side by a tangent on the segment, fix a diameter and a the other end of the arc coincides with the helix, please see the screenshot for the result.

My question, Is there another more "Cartesian" method of making this type of part? Is it finally possible in the 2018 and/or 2019 versions to place the arc tangent to both the propeller and the segment?

With my thanks.

In your 3D sketch, add a construction segment tangent to the helix, you can make the arc tangent to this line.

Hello

If you want to keep it simple, you have to make a single 3D sketch that contains the entire shape and from it you make a single scan.

Here is a link that roughly follows the method used for complex-shaped springs

Kind regards.

Thank you for your answers, by making the junction with a spline it works correctly.
