Material configuration research

Hello

Does anyone have a solidworks database on the following materials:

  • Durnico (1.6358)
  • Robert 2 (1.0338)
  • Pfinodal (UNS: C 72900)

Thank you.

Little-known materials you will surely have to create them by filling in the mechanical properties of these materials.

Here are some links for mechanical properties

Pfinodal = CuNi15Sn8 (http://www.robertlaminage.ch/images/pdf/FRPFINODAL.pdf)

Durinox (http://www.matthey.ch/fileadmin/user_upload/downloads/fichetechnique/FR/Durinox_C.pdf)

Robert 2: 1.0338->DC04 AM FCE (http://fce.arcelormittal.com/prd_web/B10_FR_new.html)

@ sbadenis you gave all the answers

it's up to you to create your own families of materials in SW

Creating a Material Library

A material library is a database containing information about each material. SolidWorks offers a read-only library (SolidWorks Materials) and a library where you can create custom materials (Custom Materials). You can create other libraries to store your custom materials.

To create a library:

  1.  In the FeatureManager design tree for the part document, click Material  and select Edit Material.
  2. In the Material dialog box , right-click an item in the Material Tree and select New Library.
  3.  In the Save As dialog box, specify the name of the file in which you want to store the library.

    Choose a descriptive name. The name you specify becomes the display name of the library. You will not be able to change it afterwards.

  4. Right-click the new library in the Material Tree, select New Category , and enter the name of the category.

You can now copy the materials from other libraries in the material tree, paste them into the category, and customize them.
