3D Search

Hello

I have a rather special request.

I would like to get a 3d usable under solidworks of tree root in the same genre as the attached photo.

Not too much time to draw it myself but hey, if I have to, I'll do it....^^

Thanks in advance!

Ps: I've already searched on grabcad without success...

Have you been looking for a tree without an inverted leaf? ^^

Hi @ Bart

SW may not be the best log to draw your image of a tree with roots

you're going to hit a lot of smooth surfaces

via profile sketches that should not be too cylindrical as much as possible

in 3D sketching via x decreasing profiles and in surface smoothing but what a job ;-((

Create a challenge and you'll have a bunch of trunks with roots

This will be out of the geometrically correct design  mecha;-))

@+ ;-))

Hello

Look at the link below, however, it's a 3ds or gsm extension.

Look at it:

edit: after as Tomalam says, you take the dead tree upside down...

It seems that for a tree, what comes out of the ground corresponds roughly to what is in the ground. So Tomalam's idea is very good! :)

HS while looking for "roots" I put a song in my head by myself, "it's roots, man, roots that we need, it's roots, woman, a return to the roots, ... ". It was the Friday night HS! :)

Really not stupid guys.

Why I didn't think of it... An upside-down tree without leaves would be easier to find!

But in general the branches are straight and I will need more of the curve, a bit like the cathedral trees that can be seen in the Amazon.

I think I'm going to end up modeling it in part.

Thanks anyway  =)

It's a good job!^^
