Hello

 

For the end of the year, I would like to make a 3d Christmas tree cut with a water jet.

The different parts will be assembled with grooves

Do you know where I can find a beautiful model?

FYI I've already looked on grabcad, thingiverse.

Basically, I typed "cardboard christmas tree"

 

I'll cut it out of 4 or 5 mm aluminum

It will be between 1m50 high and 1m70

I drew a 3D tree on solidWorks and if you're interested I can send you files so that you can make your own

just tell me in which formats you want them?

Actual height of the tree approx. 12 cm

Oh yes I'm interested =)

 

I have solidworks and draftsight so the dxf or native Sw format suits me. =)

 

I'll change the scale if I have to =)

I think it's very nice

all you have to do is find the trunk (tube and the foot)

The only problem is the amount of material

Eu .geo I don't know, I've never tried.

 

But since I'm going to have to modify it to match the assemblies to a 5 mm sheet, it's better to have an easily modifiable file.

Here is the beast, it is designed to be cut in 1mm ep. Hoping it suits you ;-)
