Dear Madam, Sir,
I am looking for an internship in CAD design/product development in the luxury sector for the summer of 2023.
I am a 2nd year student at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers and I chose to specialize in product design with a double degree at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, from September 2023.
Why luxury? I love the idea of being able to express my creativity to create useful, durable and stylish objects.
My ambition? To put my CAD skills and passion at the service of a company with recognized know-how and to contribute to innovative projects.
Are you looking for a motivated engineering intern to join your team? You can contact me at the following address: pierre.charcot@gadz.org or +33 6 06 72 34 77.
Feel free to share this post with your network to help me find the internship of my dreams! Your help is precious to me!
Type of contract: Internship
Duration of the contract: 10 to 12 weeks
Period: from June 2023
Location: France
Language: French and English
Thank you in advance for your attention and consideration.

I'm happy to know that my off-road vehicle axles were " luxurious " in their time! (useful for going anywhere, durable by lifespan and elegant... from my point of view ^^)
Joking aside, you'll have to be a little more " specific " in your field of research. Unless it doesn't matter to you between the design of jewelry, perfume packaging or other? Are you more into sheet metal? Moulding? Cutting? Any areas of expertise?

I agree with you on this point, I am convinced that elegance can be found everywhere.
If I am moving towards luxury as a first engineering experience, it is because I know that "design" in the creative sense has more and more of its place in the E.B., alongside "design" in the design sense. It's this ambivalence that attracts me.
To answer your question, which I thank you for asking because my post was meant to be synthetic.
I do indeed have a preference for jewelry, or even watches, but I am not at all closed to the design of various packaging or perfume bottles. It's a first experience and I'm curious to understand the various challenges of this sector, without closing doors to myself.
I don't have a favorite process, whether it's blacksmithing or foundry, my training at Arts et Méties gave me the basics in both cases.
Recently, I participated in the lost-wax casting of a bust as part of a project.
If this can clarify my request,
Wishing you a good day

I don't know if it's in your geographical perimeter, or even if they're looking for interns... but it may be worth trying at home
They are based in La Ferté Bernard and are regularly looking for people
