Time-consuming reconstruction

Hello

My colleagues and I are working on a package with more than a thousand components. We deplore the extremely slow (about 10 minutes) of SolidWorks when it comes to rebuilding an MEP after modifying a component. However, we have high-performance hardware (SSD, GPU, CPU, ...).

My question for you is: Why does SolidWorks systematically rebuild all the views of the MEP when the change only concerns a single component? Is it possible to rebuild only the view concerned by the change? If not, is it possible to block the auto rebuild and do it manually, later?

Thank you in advance for your answers and for your help.

Hello

To avoid intense reconstructions, set your options carefully:

Options / System Options / Assembly

Uncheck automatic rebuilds

Do you draw + 1,000 components ?

they are not all of the 1st level

you do not draw sub-assemblies
