WARNING: in a nomenclature, the " article number" that can be chosen in the " balloon text" menu is different from the occurrence identifier.
If by " Article number" you refer to " article number" that it is possible to choose in the " balloon text" menu, I answer that as standard in SW it is not possible, perhaps feasible by macro - but here I let the VBA Darons answer you -,
BUT, in my opinion, this is not a thing to do.
The SW article numbers (N° in the nomenclature) change depending on the case of use of the part,
i.e., the same part in 2 different assemblies will certainly have a different article number in each of the nomenclatures.
If the goal is to always identify a component in the same way regardless of the assembly in which it is used, then it is better to change the default balloon setting and point to a custom property whose value is set once and for all in the part (or for each of its configurations).
