My son having installed an ssd on the PC:
I had asked a question about the reinstallation of Solidworks student on an ssd a few days after installing the same Solidworks on a hard drive.
I don't find my question here.
So I "gave it a shot".
Everything is going well since I have the serial numbers.
But, when choosing the installation location, despite a deep cleaning of the partition, I still get the message:
The download folder between selected or its parent contains files from a different version of SOLIDWORKS 2018 SP05 than the one you are installing (SOLIDWORKS 2019 SP02) Select a different folder.
I searched for answers without success.
I have done hours of handling and cleaning but the message keeps coming back. I can no longer install Solidworks.
How to do it?
