Hello.

In your toolbar,

( function-sketch-surface ..... Office Products)

You should be able to find Office products

1 you select it

2 TU Selection Photo View 360

(see  1.png)

It will open the Render Tool tab and from there you can choose:

-final rendering (its going to open a window with your preview)

-integrated preview (your assembly will be displayed in real and you will be able  to manipulate it).

In addition to Fabrice you already need to know if Photoview is activated on the 2012 version you have.

  Hello

if you don't have the ability to access a higher version of Solidworks, you can always fall back on Sketchup.

There is a free plug-in "Maxwelle Render" available for download by simply registering.

I've never tried it, but I've had good feedback about it.

I found a video initiative. I don't know what it's worth, it's quite long

Hoping she will help you.

Otherwise there is keyshot software that does very good rendering

 Hello

I've already thought about the subject for work, I've compared Keyshot, Simlab and PV360, everyone can have their interest. If we had to remember that a quality the first is ultra-compatible and easy to use, the second the price, the last the quality of rendering.

In the end, we invested in PV360.
