Renaming Parts List Parts

Hello

We work mainly in welded constructions, with a list of welded parts, for our parts.

For our subcontracting needs, we need to export the sheets in DXF format with the part file name via the Sheet Metal Manufacturing utility which works very well.

Originally, in the list of welded parts, Solidworks gives us "Article-list-of-welded-partsX" with X which gives the reference in the drawing.

Is there the possibility to automatically rename (using MyCADTools, or a macro) "Article-list-of-welded-partsX" by "X-filename".

Hello

You can use the SmartProperties utility to rename the parts of the welded parts with the value of a property, before you start SheetMetalManufacturing.

This partly solves our problem.

Is this manipulation also valid for a BatchProperties?

I added a meter in SmartProperties, to have the X numbering, however, this does not automatically return to 0 on another room.

We are forced to do it manually.

If anyone has a solution, we are interested.
