Hi all

 

I want to rename an entire batch of files via an EPDM counter.

I think that with dispatch it's possible but I can't find the meter variable.

How to Keep the Links of a Renamed Part in the Assembly

Do you have an idea?

To my knowledge not possible via dispatch. Serial numbers are assigned when documents are created, not retrospectively.

Try to see with the support if they have already done this kind of manipulation otherwise a lead would be in setting up the serial number in the cards, applying it to the files already created and then renaming the files from this information via vba.

A path to explore if I understood your problem correctly:

It is possible to add a property to a batch of files with the "Embedd" tool (MyCADtools), and then rename files in bulk with the "ProjectManager" tool using the created property as the name.
