Hello
I have a problem with my family of parts every time I rename D2@Esquisse24 by Ø Exterior or D the link is broken.
because for my drawing it is not classy to put the references of the dimensions with D2@Esquisse24 for example
How to rename without breaking links all the time

Hello
We can't change this line.
It seems to me that we can add a line just below to put the designations we want.
And then we can resize the table displayed in the plane by editing the part family in SolidWorks, and using the dotted lines on the outside.
See the example:

but to add the line below no need to put symbols like a dollar or an @?

No, if the first column is empty, SolidWorks will know that it is not another configuration of the part family.
if I add a line below so above DN25; NPS1 all my configurations will not be taken into account normally

With us it works, but if it doesn't work then we can put the column headings below the table...
ok thank you I'll test to see if everything works

To be checked but on SW2014 if you change the name of the dimension on the part the name in the part family changes automatically.
It even displays this message:
Changing this property will update the corresponding cell in the part family the next time it is edited in SolidWorks.
On the other hand, you rename Ø like this Exterieur@Esquisse1
Otherwise, the method of adding a line below works wonders.

NO LAUGHING
But how do you put the picture back together?
I uncovered this accursed painting, wanting to unfurl the top bar to hide D2@Esquisse44

I managed to pull it up, you have to take it on the right gray edge

Just click and hold on one of the dotted lines (not very thick, it's true and not in the corners otherwise you resize).

@romain.portugues it's not funny because it happened at least once to everyone....
For my part I try to grab a corner of the board, but I'm interested in a keyboard solution if it exists

Hello
Small question still concerning the families of rooms.
My paintings are quite large, I resize it without any problem, I adjust it to my plan, I save.
I reopen it and BIM tables larger than the sheet is there a way to freeze the dimensions of an excel table of family of rooms on a MEP.
