I am currently on Solidworks 2016 and I wanted to know if by switching to the 2019 version it would be possible for me to open . CATPART?
Another question, will export to the middle coast be possible in this 2019 version?

From solidworks 2018 onwards you can open CADPART files, but only with a premium license and using the "3D interconnect" technology.

For medium dimension exports, you can try the "Tolerances" tool from myCADtools

Thank you for the medium sheet metal export tip, it actually works very well with the "tolerances" tool, one of the few MyCad tools that I didn't know and therefore didn't use!
