When I want to create a circular area pattern on a disk, the function asks me for a direction
on a shape with a straight edge = OK but on a circular edge!!
I specify that I use SW2012
Do you have a solution?
Thank you

Possible solution: Draw a construction line in your previous sketch that will serve as the direction for this function.
Hello
Create a construction line for your management. Either in a new sketch or in your previous sketch.
Kind regards
Ah, I was writing the answer when PhilippeB answered!
Hello
Or alternatively, do a repetition driven by a sketch (with dots)

Hello
@ petitpied
my teacher hit me on the head when I did a repetition with dots... He told me that when you're all alone it's good but as soon as a friend takes back it's poop
If anyone has an explanation I'm interested
Hello
Here's the method to do a repetition in an area:

There is the circular filling otpion that should interest you.

TO SEPM. Gerald ,
I don't know why your mecha teacher was telling you that. For my part, I sometimes use this technique, and it has never been a problem for the people who have passed behind me.
I think that as long as it's done "cleanly" there is no problem. The sketch just has to be well done.
After thinking about it, opt for Tomalam's solution instead, I had totally forgotten about this function, and it's much simpler in your case...
