Linear Repeat with Angle

Hello

I want to make a linear repetition of X components on a shaft, spaced 10mm apart but with an angle shift also (15°).

Is there a function that allows me to do this? (Solidworks 2014)

Thank you!

Hello

We can try to copy with the constraints, by putting an angle of 15° with respect to the previous compound:

See the example:

Otherwise, a diagram or an image would have been welcome, because it's a bit abstract.

Hello

Here is an image that will allow you to better visualize:

I want to repeat the Blue component linearly and at an angle. I would have liked to do it in a way that I could add +50 at once, not manage the constraints one by one.

EDIT: This works very well with the insertion of components with constraint but I have to do it for each ... too long for about fifty components.

Thank you.

Here is a solution that could be suitable:

Create a propeller, and do the repetition driven by a sketch

Note: You may not need to insert the points (to be tested).

And by creating blue part configs with the 15° angle and making a linear repetition in the assembly?

Then all you have to do is give the right configuration. to the blue piece.

I was also thinking about the repetition driven by a sketch but it only works for the functions, not for the components.

You have to try to create a function (e.g. drilling), repeat it with a sketch and finally repeat the component with Function-driven Repeat

To be tested...

I went for your solution .PL but I get stuck at the repetition of hook points ... Can you explain to me how I can do the repetition of the stitch along the propeller?

The link for the SolidWorks help was bad: it's a Sketch-driven Component Repeat that you want:

http://help.solidworks.com/2014/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/HIDD_DVE_COMPPAT_SKETCH.htm

Trying to do it pointless with this function, it doesn't work? (with only a starting point).

Hello

This would be feasible in a part file thanks to the "occurrence to vary" option but not in assembly.

So in assembly you have to go through a propeller with points distributed all the way.

How can I manage my angle in the propeller function?

You have to be perpendicular to the trajectory and therefore if the angle is 15° distribute 360/15 points on the propeller.

Hello

I just can't do these repetitions, I can't select the helix, the only sketch I can select is the circle that I used to make the propeller... Anyone have an idea how to do it?

In the end I did with the insertion of components with constraint, the fact that reproposes the action right after validating it, makes the task repeatable. All you have to do is set up the insertion of the first parent part.
