Linear Pattern or Stamping Tool Symmetry on Solidworks

Hi all

I just created a stamping tool for a sheet metal part. How do I perform a linear repetition or symmetry of my stamped shape?

Thank you in advance.

Hello

We need more precision or as possible your part file.

Thank you.

Hello

All you have to do is make a stamping with the dedicated function, then do a repetition of this function.

Stamped:

Linear Repeat:

Symmetry:

And for a symmetrical part for the stamping tool:

Thank you for this information. In fact, you have to check the "geometry repeat" box in the options of the mirroring or repetition function, otherwise there is a creation error message.

Thank you all.

Right, I've been fooled more than once too!

For the future and if you want to use the costing module, you have to do the repetitions in the sketch of the function otherwise it will not be taken into account by Costing.
