Restore Solidworks Icons in Explorer

Hello

In the windows explorer (win7) whatever the type of solidwork file I have the same icons (red cube with the letters "S" and "W" on one side, all on a white background) how to get the solidworks icons (see screenshot).

Thank you

Weird, it does this to me just for the lib feat part.

Otherwise I have a preview of the room in the icon.

Yes it's weird, I can get the preview but not the icons...

And by checking the box "use shaded preview"

In System Options/ Performance

And uncheck the box "No preview on opening"

You had to change the default opening schedule.

You have to select in "open with" (right click of the mouse on one of your files) solidworks launcher and not solidworks as the default program...

I hope this will solve your PB.

The second: see screenshot (the path of the DLL is to be corrected according to the installation path)

I did change the default program. At first there were none, so I chose solidworks.exe (on a workstation with the right icons, solidworks.exe is associated with the files)

I think the option track in SW is the right one and to try first.

Personally, I deactivate it to relieve the machine (the display in icon mode of a loaded directory becomes very/too long)

So in this case, the installation must be repaired.

Control Panel/Programs and select Sw to fix it.

Hello

We tested the installation repair and this too:

The problem seems to come from the wondows session because when you change users the icons are good.

After several attempts the problem is still there, I close the subject.

Thank you for your help.
