Motor-Terminal Block Cable Router

Hello

On Solidworks Electrical, I created a wiring diagram, with cables, etc.

The cable runs from a motor to terminals.

In Solidworks 3D, how do I route this cable?

Automatic routing doesn't create it.

Does anyone have a little explanation?

Thank you

Eric

See this tutorial in English but quite explicit on the subject

Hello

This tutorial explains how to make a cable between 2 connectors.

I'm looking for a cable between a terminal block (with X1-1, X1-2, X1-3 terminals) and a motor (connected to UVW)

I created the cable in Electrical, the terminals and the motor in 3D, but I can't route the cable

Hello

In 3D, your terminal block and motor are well associated with the terminal block and motor of the 2D schematic part.

In other words, in the 3D you have inserted your terminal block and motor from the 2d electrical shaft where are components already in place?

If it is the second case, they must be associated with the schematic so that it recognizes the ins and outs. To do this, right-click in the Electrical tree on the correct component of the schematic.

Thank you Coyote

I inserted the terminal block from Electrical (Right click in the electrical shaft Insert the terminal block)

I associated the engine, because it was already in place.

If I insert a circuit breaker between the terminal block and the motor, I have a motor-to-circuit breaker cable and terminal-to-circuit breaker wires, but no cable if I go directly from the motor to the terminal block

In the 2d the ins and outs are defined correctly?

Hello

I think so, in the detailed wiring, it is complete (cable connected, holding and ending)

And if I remove the cable and ask "Route wires" it works very well...

A little Up?

Well, after a lot of research, I conclude that this function either doesn't work, or is not possible.

Domage, because it is in SW Electrical's interest to be able to put the motor cables in my equipment
