Save the "Edit all file locations" table

Hello

Does Solidworks allow the backup of the table "Edit all file locations" accessible as follows: Options, System Options, File Locations and then Edit All.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Good evening

Thank you for this super quick response.

In the Extreferences list, which key is for the file locations and how to perform the export?

In advance, I thank you for your help and send you my cordial greetings.

From Windows, you have to search for "assistant to copy settings".
It's in "Solidworks tools" which, depending on your Windows version (7 or 10), can be found in the start menu or as a submenu of Solidworks.

Hello

you have to right-click on the folder key -> Export

Save as txt

Open the file with Excel

here are the images in PJ, the quality is not great when inserting an image in the post.

Hello YP69,

Many thanks to you. I see that you are very competent. Well done!

So to find the key, for me it's mysterious. On the other hand, I didn 't know the procedure for exporting. So, thanks to your experience, I learned a procedure in the registry. In the end, the exported text file did not give a conclusive Excel spreadsheet. I finally took a screenshot with Snagit and then transformed it into Word format. I am sending it to you as an attachment.

Renewing my sincere thanks, receive my cordial greetings.

For my case I am on solidworks 2017:

My key will be this one, you just have to replace the solidworks version year of the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2017\ExtReferences

The functions extracted in Excel are in English however, see attached file.

I'll let you solve your question by putting the answer that helped you the most.
