Hello, I need your help please. I have professional draftside of which I would like your help in order to write a script allowing me from an excel file giving the name of the rectangular piece with length width, automatically dedraw syr a layer these rectangles. These rectangles should have a 1mm radius instead of right angles.
Rectangles can be called several times as 1 line = 1 piece and can be put in the same layer next to each other on the same absisse.
The rectangles I would like the lines to be joined and outline closed.

You say that you can't automate, I conclude that you have tried, it would be good if you presented us with your draft of the work, accompanied by screenshots so that your request is clearer.
What I understand:
You want to add the Part Name to a specific layer (it should be named) in DraftSight
In a rectangle with rounded corners (radius=1mm) and that this name is extracted from an Excel file...
And repeat this operation if your plan contains several pieces.
Basically, you want a BOM with the Name of each component in tabular form...
