Simplification 2D Solidworks Simulation

Hi all

 

I would like to calculate the stress state of a circlip for a given deformation.

 

For this I would have liked to use a simplified 2D model but the option is grayed out when I want to create a new static study.

 

Does anyone know why the option is disabled?

 

Does the part have to have certain geometric properties (apart from symmetry)?

 

I have attached the shape of my piece to give you an idea.

Hello

 

This option is available only if you have SolidWorks Simulation PRO.

So I guess that's not your case, you only have SolidWorks Premium with static simulation.

 

If not, there is another problem.
