I'm using Smart Bom to extract properties from CAD files for a big cleanup before migrating to SW's PDM.
The idea is to get an exhaustive excel list of all our files, to clean it up automatically thanks to our ERP, and to reinject it into the database when importing it into the PDM. Import works perfectly, as does cleaning, provided you have enough basic data to cross-reference it with the ERP.
My problem is that some essential properties (in this case the reference, rather useful to cross with the ERP, or the comments of the revision table, interesting so as not to stuff yourself by hand with the re-entry of hundreds of lines of comments) are contained in the properties of the plan files (SLDDRW) and that an analysis with smart bom of these files does not come up at all. I extract everything I want from PRT and ASM files, but DRW, nada.
Is there a way to recover the properties of PRT files?
