Hello

Could a kind soul help me configure smartbom to create my bills of materials automatically from an assembly?

I can fill in an existing excel nomenclature with smartbom. But I am missing the data of length, width and thickness of the sheet metal.

To do this you need to check the display of welded mechanical elements and add columns with your properties to add:

One last quick question.

How do I make sure to have commas instead of periods when I export to excel?

For the separator . It probably comes from your Excel file chosen in SmartBom, you modify it with this link and it should solve your problem:
