SolidNetwork licence manager: licenses that remain attached

Hello

Is there a trick to return the licenses hung by a machine after using Solidworks?

Despite using the Refresh command, the license remains attached to the machine with Solidworks closed.

Hello

With the borrowed license PC, go to the license manager and then click "return"

may the force be with you.

unfortunately these are not "borrowed" licenses but the licenses in the "License Usage" tab

In theory when you close Solid. The license server updates and the license is seen as available.

But in my case it is still seen as taken by the machine even if it is turned off

Wouldn't your license be declared as fixed and not floating?

Hello

Is this the last SP available for this version of Solidworks:

SP5 for 2016 and earlier

SP2 for Solidworks 2017

If this is not the case, you should update as soon as possible because it solves a lot of problems.

Otherwise, it is possible to force a license to be returned with this command:

c:\program files\solidworks corp\solidnetwork license manager\utils\lmutil lmremove SolidWorks Standard <<username>> <<computername>> <<displayname>>

Hello and thank you for your feedback.

I'm in 2015 SP5 and I unfortunately don't have access to the  license server but I'm keeping this info aside which will probably be useful sooner or later.

thank you again
