I went through several forums before asking my question here. I know how to export a 3D pdf from solidworks, Only is it possible to import a 3D pdf into solidworks? a customer sent me a 3D pdf and does he need a technical drawing.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) this choice is not offered for import into SW.
This includes because SW can only open a certain number of formats, including those of CAD of course.
