Solidworks 2014 file opening times

Hello

During a troubleshooting by my Solidworks reseller (who works on him in 2014) I noticed a very big improvement in the opening time of files between 2013 and 2014. (he did it on the two versions in front of me)

Have you noticed this improvement as well??? If so, how much do you quantify it??

Thank you in advance

I have a little trouble believing this story, the files were yours

had he put the blocking bar on his version

See this tutorial

With this tool it is true that you save a considerable amount of time for reconstruction

Yes, it was my files and not a block bar.

I was stunned by the opening time on SW 2013 30 seconds about 2014 barely 5 seconds.

I didn't really understand at the time, and that's why I'm asking the question. The reseller, as a good reseller, told me that yes it has been significantly improved, but as much as I frankly find it hard to believe it....

Hello

Yes, I noticed but didn't do any tests, but he talks about it here:

http://www.javelin-tech.com/blog/2013/11/solidworks-2014-performance-increases-believe/

Assembly of 1300 parts to be opened and rebuilt:

  • 36.5 seconds in 2013
  • 11.5 seconds in 2014

Pretty impressive, provided that all the files are in 2014!

Arff indeed impressive and quite in line with what I have been able to observe.

I think I'll have to look at the fact of playing in 2014.

Hello

This is indeed a major announcement that was made during the presentations of the 2014 novelties.

Is this true in the same proportions with EPDM?
