[SOLIDWORKS 2018] Empty Custom Properties

Hi all

Not having found an answer to my problem in the various topics already available, I ask for your help.

I created a form using "Property Form Editor". (1st image in the PJ)

I put my file in a folder that I will look for in Tools/Options/File Locations/Custom Property Files (2nd and 3rd image of the PJ).

Then I open a PART and then the Custom Properties tab of the side panel, it is either empty instead of having the previously created fields (4th image)

either I have the message "Error processing .... The syntax is eput-être incorrect".

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and how to fix it?

Thank you all in advance for your answers.

Jérémy

Hello

Try to put it in another hard drive to see what it gives,

Maybe without the accents, because sometimes the accent can cause problems the out of external link

Or at another location it will be a direct link maybe

I hope it will help you

Steve

I've already tried to put it directly at the root of the C: but unfortunately the result remains the same, either empty or "syntax error".

Thank you anyway for your proposal

The Windows desktop is not the best place to store files (it's a particular directory of Windows), it's better to use the c:\temp directory for example, or create a working directory.

Can you share your file and linked files (if there are lists for example)?
Make a backup of your file, then try to remove the "modules" from the file (one by one) to find the one that is causing the error.

As advised by stefbeno, I deleted the elements one by one and deduced that my "Designers" and "Suppliers" lists were a problem.

The problem came from the fact that I was using lists from Excel files because by converting them into a file .txt they appear

without problems and no longer bothered by errors.

Thank you for taking the time to answer me.

Have a good day everyone
