Solidworks certification with cracked software

Hello

I am a student and I have not yet been able to invest in the SOLIDWORKS software. However this one is very interesting, I downloaded it in cracked version and would like to be able to pass the CSWA certification with the version I have. Is it possible to pass it in these conditions? Or is a purchased version needed?

Thank you

Hello

Normally you don't need a license to pass the basic certification since some questions are general knowledge of the software, but without software to model, to know the center of gravity or the mass, it's going to be complicated. Nothing prevents you from using Fusion 360 which is free for that. But hey, if you pass a certificate for a software, you might as well do it on this one.

As for the cracker license obviously... "it's not good", especially if you're a student you have a student version of Sw (which is also used for the unemployed at one time, I don't know if it's still relevant.)

That's ;)

Hello

I'm not sure that this is the place for discussions on "unofficial" licenses, especially since the price of student licenses is not really a deterrent since they are free, see http://www.solidworks.fr/sw/education/4525_FRA_HTML.htm.

Kind regards

thank you for your answer

Yes I wanted to take the student version, but it's an extracurricular "plus" that I do, my school doesn't train in solidworks, it trains rather on CATIA.

I know that using a cracked version is really not good, but I was planning to buy the license once the first money was in.

So I can take the exam without having a valid license? Once the CSWA license is passed, it will be much easier to find small jobs in 3D design

Buying a license for you is still a little close to 6000€...

6000€?! Oh well.. ahah

Yes! Or else there is the rental which would be around 1700€ per year.

Certifications in France are not widely used as a selection criterion even if it is a plus. It seems to me that it is more on the American market than it is useful if I am not mistaken.

If you want a free modeler, it's better to go for a free Fusion 360, then you have ZW3D but you have to count 1500€ for the basic license. (I advise to have a 30-day trial version before buying, it's the same or even better than SW.... but.... it's not as easy and intuitive as SW)
