Solidworks composer

Hi all.

After some fruitless research, I turn to you who often have the right answer.

I just discovered Solidworks Composer (very practical), in terms of operation I guess that the person who receives the plan must be equipped with a viewer, but I can't find anything anywhere.

Can someone guide me on the procedure to follow to be able to exchange solidworks composer files.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards.

Hello

It seems to me that you can create an executable file that doesn't require a program to install:

File > Save as > Package

See here the 2nd point:

http://www.leguide3d.com/profiles/blogs/difference-entre-les-types-de-fichier-de-solidworks-composer

3DVIA COMPOSER PACKAGE (.exe)

A self-executing file that contains the following :

  • .smg file
  • SolidWorks Composer Player executable
  • SolidWorks Composer Player Help

Use packages to distribute models to users who may not have SolidWorks Composer or SolidWorks Composer Player installed. Opening the package file (.exe) runs SolidWorks Composer Player and loads SolidWorks Composer data.

Edit: I found the Viewer here to download:

I got a little carried away, I don't have access to the save as function, yet I have a premium version of SW 2014.

I can just save a jpg.

Kind regards.
