SOLIDWORKS: PART CONFIGURATION / LIBRARY FUNCTION CONFIGURATION

Hello

In an A.SLDLFP library function, there are 2 configurations

  1. LFP_CFG1
  2. LFP_CFG2

In a PRT part in which the A.SLDLFP library function would be inserted, is it possible to have configurations parameterized as follows:

  1. PRT_CFG1 => library function A in configuration LFP_CFG1
  2.  PRT_CFG2 => library function A in configuration LFP_CFG2

Thanks in advance,

I just tried.

The library function doesn't seem to be configurable.

You can always put 2 of them in your room and remove one of the library functions in each configuration: it will work but will be more annoying if you have constraints on the faces of the library functions in your assembly (or if your library function is at the very beginning of the construction tree).

Hello, I confirm the answer of @froussel ,
And I still find it a shame especially when constraints are dependent on this function, I find that it limits a little the advantage of the library functions
