Quite between us I would like to know who still uses costing.
There are much more efficient and above all much more complete production management software, especially for the links with analytical accounting for upstream and downstream flows. For me, costing is only one element of process control and it doesn't make sense if it's used in isolation.
A little sneaky question how do you fit into Costing everything that is not solidworks, especially everything that is assembly, rework, surface treatment, etc, etc...
Only a complete integrator with a generalized interface-aggregator allows you to know the real production costs and I can tell you that it is not a mille-feuille (or a pie depending on taste) to set up and especially to master on a daily basis.
