Who uses SOLIDWORKS Costing, in which industry , and what do you think it's useful for?

I think you can ask your dealer for a trial version to make up your own mind.

But I don't think it's very widespread.

I just  saw that it's included with the Pro and Premium versions of SolidWorks (we only have PRO versions) and we've never used it. After that, it's true that we outsource a lot and that we don't do much in-house anymore.
