SolidWorks and Boat Hull

Hello.

   Before I get attached to SolidWorks as a retired individual, I would like to know if 3D solid drawing is possible for a model hull of a boat or should I turn to a more specialized software?

   It is, among other things, a simplified sailing model of a submarine whose shape is already defined in 2D.

This software is perfectly suited to your project. It allows you to create all kinds of shapes, even curved or complex. The few images of submarines designed in SolidWorks on the net illustrate this capability well.
