Solidworks and 3D printing

Hi all

how can we transform our SW14 files into a file readable by 3D printers

Thank you.

Good evening

You have to turn it into a Save As font and put the extension "*.stl "

There is also an Add-in in SolidWorks: ScanTo3D

Hello

It depends on the printer, but indeed, most 3D printers read the STL format.

Hello

In Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, with SolidWorks 2015 and 2016, it is possible to print directly to the printer. Otherwise STL is the solution.
