Solidworks flow simulation

Hi all

Being a novice in the use of the Flow simulation module, could you tell me if it is possible to simulate a deformation of a liquid (in the form of a jet) using pressurized air?

Let me explain, on some spray guns, the spray of product is dispersed in the form of a mist using pressurized air, I would like to simulate this.

At the same time, do you have any nice tutorials?

Thank you in advance

Hello!

Yes indeed you can! the possibilities are multiple....

Good luck

@ben.13

for the request I'm not very convinced you expected result

It is requested to simulate the spraying of a gun nose via air pressure

so at the base already 2 produces paint / and air

a dispersion angle and a type of dispersion depending on the type of nozzle

not convinced that simulation of SW save do but I may be wrong

I'm going to try the simulation to see if Sw is really able to do it...

I'll keep you posted!!

Hello

Yes, that's exactly @gt22.

@ben.13 So you were able to simulate this operation? Because I still can't do it...

Thank you in advance

If that's not possible, do you have a software to recommend to me?

Thank you
