Solidworks Inspection. Creation of inspection plans. Who uses it?

Hello

Currently, we are starting to use Inspection as a follow-up to Solidworks to create shop floor inspection plans during production.

Realization of the 3D part in Solidworks. OK

Drawing in Solidworks. OK

Launch of automatic recognition in Solidworks in order to number all dimensions of the plan in Solidworks. OK

Now I have two options. Either create my range via Solidworks or via a transfer to Inspection.

The problem is that on Solidworks, we cannot select several dimensions at the same time in order to give them an identical means of control, for example. (Waste of time if it concerns about forty ribs...)

So we export the file to use it on Inspection, however there is data loss between the two software such as the subtype (diameter, length...).

How do you make your ranges of controls? And under Inspection, how can we best proceed in order to have a maximum of data without having to retype it individually?

Thank you all. John.

So no one creates control ranges from Solidworks or others?

After the development of the latter, the Inspection software is a good software for creating inspection ranges.

I will be making a presentation soon.

Thank you anyway. ;)
