Solidworks: Multiple Drawing

Hello

First of all, best wishes for this year 2015.

Unfortunately for me, this year is starting with a few pitfalls:D

I work under SW 2014 Premium and my mission is to set up the basemaps and other graphic charter for my design office.

Also working under AutoCAD, we sometimes produce the details of several parts on the same drawing board. We therefore decided to make a "main" cartouche with the information common to all the parts of the plan; and a "flying" cartouche associated with the detail of each piece mentioning the Rep of the detail, the designation, the material, the paint... (in other words, 6 pieces on the plan > 1 "main" cartridge and 6 "flying" cartridges).

Under AutoCAD, there is no problem in creating the "flying" cartridges. If necessary, copy and modify the value of the attributes of the block.

Under SW, I don't know how to do it and don't even know if it's possible by avoiding creating all the property attributes for each part of the same board.

So my question is the following: Is it possible under SW to associate the "flying" cartouche with a view of the part whose properties we want it to take (and not the properties of the first view inserted).

Happy New Year to you too.

Personally, I think I'd make a "flying cartridge" block with notes that point to the properties of the part (the properties of the parts can be created very quickly using smart properties or the custom property editor).

Then all you have to do is add this block to the detail piece.

Hello

I can only see one solution: to set nomenclatures related to each view (which will act as a flying cartridge). But the detail will have to be identified manually.

I'd do like Coyote.

By adding a bubble to identify the parts.

Hello

Some of my colleagues are not very comfortable with the property editor, so I will use the Coyote method.

And maybe one day I'll give training to my colleagues:D

Thank you for your answers;)
